Weekly mowing, edging, fertilization and seasonal cleanups that keep Long Island lawns dark green from April to November.
We mow, edge, and feed your lawn on a fixed weekly schedule with sharpened blades and clean equipment — no scalped corners, no skipped weeks. Our maintenance crews handle fertilization, weed control, aeration, overseeding, and full spring and fall cleanups, so your turf comes back thicker every season instead of thinning out.
We meet on-site, measure turf and bed area, and map out cut lines, problem zones and irrigation heads.
You get a fixed weekly day, a flat seasonal price, and a written scope so there are no surprise add-ons.
Same crew, sharp blades, clean cleanup. We text before we come and after we leave.
South Shore lawns deal with salt-laden coastal air, sandy or compacted clay soils depending on the block, and a freeze-thaw cycle that punishes anything mowed too short going into winter. A drive-by mow-and-blow service can keep grass cut, but it can’t stop thinning, crabgrass invasion, or the slow yellowing that comes from skipped fertilization windows.
Our weekly maintenance is built around a calendar that matches Nassau County’s growing season: cool-season feeding in early spring, a pre-emergent before crabgrass germinates, a balanced summer feed during the heat, and a heavy fall fertilization that sets root mass before dormancy. Mowing height is raised from 3" to 3.5" through July and August to shade out weeds and hold moisture.
Same crew, same day each week, with sharpened blades changed out routinely so we cut grass instead of tearing it. We mow in alternating patterns to prevent ruts, line-trim every bed edge and fence line, and blow down every hard surface — driveway, walkways, patio, decks — before we leave. Clippings stay on the lawn as free nitrogen unless growth is heavy enough to clump.
Beds get hand-pulled or spot-treated for weeds during the visit, not as a separate upcharge. Hedges and ornamentals are pruned on schedule through the season, and we coordinate with your irrigation timing so we’re never mowing a soaked lawn.
Spring cleanup is the foundation of the year: leaf and debris removal, bed re-edging, fresh mulch installation, first fertilization, and a full property walk-through. Fall is the inverse — repeat leaf removal as needed (often 2–4 visits depending on tree cover), gutter-line cleanup, winter shutdown of irrigation if requested, and the final feeding.
Thin or compacted lawns get core aeration in early fall paired with slice seeding using a Northeast-blend tall fescue/ryegrass mix. Customers see noticeably thicker turf the following spring without needing to tear anything out.
